The Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS) now invites bids for the consultancy services of a firm to undertake the National Labour Market Survey: Employer Perspectives in 2023.

Scope includes but is not limited to:

The Consultant is expected to prepare research design, methodology, research instruments and data analysis aligned to the following four (4) themes: 

  1. Labour demand and shortage
  2. Growth industries and recruitment patterns
  3. Change in Employment Arrangements
  4. Requirements for Education and Training

Procurement Method:                       National Competitive Bidding (NCB)

Eligibility:                                                A valid Tax Compliance Letter.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English will be available for download as at Wednesday, December 14, 2022 on the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement website www.gojep.gov.jm. Bidders MUST be registered on the GOJEP system in order to access the bidding documents and participate in the tender.  Registration can be done by following instructions listed on the website at www.gojep.gov.jm.

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid closing date.

Bid Submission and & Opening:
Bids must be submitted online via the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement website www.gojep.gov.jm no later than Friday, January 06, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. or 14:00 hrs.  Online Bid Opening will take place on Friday, January 06, 2023 at 2:15 p.m. or 14:15 hrs.  An online Bid Opening Report will be sent to all bidders.  Late submissions will be rejected by the system automatically.
