Private Employment Agencies
Private Employment Agencies are monitored quarterly, by inspectors from the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. This is done in order to ensure that provisions are made for the licensing, regulatory and control of Employment Agencies island wide.
There are approximately One Hundred and Five (105) Agencies distributed by parish islandwide. Thirty-three (33) licences have been granted (6 overseas and 27 local). Seventy-two applications are still being processed.
