The Labour Relations Department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security is responsible for the promotion and maintenance of industrial harmony in Jamaica. This is achieved through the following:

• Conciliation 
• Industrial Disputes Tribunal 
• Pay and Conditions of Employment Branch (PCEB)/Minimum Wage Section 
• Minimum Wage Advisory Committee
• International Labour Information /Agency (ILI/A)
