The Documentation, Information and Access Services Unit is a part of the Human Resource Management and Administration Department, and is comprised of the two (2) Main Registries in the Ministry – one is located at the Labour Division while the other is at the Social Security Division. The Mission of the Documentation and Access Services Unit is “To support the Ministry of Labour and Social Security’s administration in its delivery of service to the Jamaican and international community, by utilizing an organized, efficient and user-friendly records and information management system. This process is aided by a structured information technology system, a healthy working environment and a highly motivated staff”. Committed to the fulfillment of our mission statement, we are guided by the pledge of our customer service policy as we provide services to our internal and external customers. "We recognize the customer as valuable and important. As such, the staff is properly trained and oriented to ensure delivery of the highest quality service.
